Graphic design students from Pennsylvania College of Technology are concluding a highly successful 2024-25 season of national design awards. Capturing 32 awards in five competitions, the results spotlight the caliber of the college’s Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design.

Photographs created by Joanna Knox Yoder, photography instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology, are included in juried exhibitions in Colorado and Vermont.

“Wally’s Library,” a photograph by Nadia V. Zimmerman, a junior in the graphic design major at Pennsylvania College of Technology, is among images accepted into the Southeast Center for Photography’s College ’25 Online Exhibition .

Taking off on the concept of a popular YouTube talk show, Pennsylvania College of Technology is launching “Wild Ones,” a series of video interviews with members of the campus community. The fun concept: The interviewees try to keep their composure while eating progressively hotter sauce-drenched chicken wings. (Or, in some cases, vegan wings.)

Penn College students turned out for the recent “Sticker Shock” lecture and reception for the “Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers” exhibition. Joining the students in the celebration of street art were college faculty and staff, as well as members of the wider community.

Continuing to boost his long list of art shows, David M. Moyer, assistant professor of graphic design at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has added four exhibitions to his portfolio.
